Islam is a big thing. the Caliphate of Córdoba wasn't the Abbasid Caliphate. Sunni isn't Shi'a. Jews flourished under some Islamic regimes and were brutally oppressed under others.

Tomorrow is the annual anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Musa Al Kadhim May Peace Be Upon Him (A Muslim Shi'a saint) and a major day of mourning for Shi'a Muslims so I am expecting that the strikes might happen tomorrow.
