It’s been a minimal posting week as I’ve been struggling with an evil cough, but I decided to have a go a scratch building some Aleut baidarkas (kayaks). It would probably make more sense to commission these as STLs but sometimes a bit of building is therapeutic! #nerdlings #miniatures #wargaming

Like the Aleut have a traditional whale-hunting dart (which incidentally ties back to #PF2e classing harpoons and javelins as darts, not spears, because their primary function is to be thrown). The projectile could look like a slightly-more-lethal lawn dart, or a massively oversized arrow. 2/?

- a roundtrip flight home each year for active-duty military and USCG

- push to rebuild the derelict Navy base on Adak Island (now owned by The Aleut Corporation)
The $900B military spending law signed by Trump includes special benefits for soldiers and Coast Guardsmen in Alaska, hundreds of millions in new construction within the state, and a continued push to reactivate the Navy base at Adak. (via @alaskabeacon.com) www.adn.com/alaska-news/...
