That's what I was thinking--the original poster should go a bit further and ask just WHY so many Americans feel the need to anesthetize themselves. In addition to knowing 1/3 of our populace are RWNJs, much of the prob is poverty & despair--the absence of all hope.

I’ll keep quoting it until it sinks in: direct action is always better than waiting on and relying on elections for change. You don’t have to wait to do it, and it isn’t rendered completely ineffective by politicians doing what they always do-selling out.

Drugs? You could maybe anesthetize this energetic pup into a drooling stupor for her entire life. This dog was not anxious, fearful, mentally unwell.
Too poor to pay a trainer? Sell the pup to someone who values her and will do the training. Return to breeder. Nothing wrong with that.
