Tbh I often write a character a certain way, find out their pre-existing qualities fit Something, then research that thing. More often then not, what isn’t familiar to me is a love letter to people I’ve Known + cared about (ik this is a tangent but!! Yes)

People with large followings on here and when more folks were on Twitter love to pretend this isn’t true but once you have more than a couple hundred followers you’re no longer having a universal or broadly generalizable social media experience.

Impeach him for Maduro? Of course not because it isn’t impeachable. Remember Noriega? Bush wasn’t impeached for that either. And this is well within the presidential powers to do what he did. You may not like it, and personally I don’t think it was wise, but our opinion isn’t the law

One is too skinny and very old. One is middle aged, but anxiety eating, often at the expense of the skinny one if I don’t pay constant attention. So this is one tool that helps me make sure one gets enough while the other isn’t taking from his share. Rec’d by vet who’s seen them both for years.

I don't like to assign bad faith to people on this basis. They may have realistic or unrealistic ideas about methods, but it isn't unreasonable for someone to believe in organized violent insurrection without performing individual violent insurrection. That would be a good faith position.

Karma's normally on anxiety medication to help stabilize her moods, but since we moved here to this new location, her medicine stopped helping her. Unfortunately, this means she goes from 0 to 100 and from friendly to murderous at the flip of a switch.

Will probably delete that later, as I do not want to get too political on here this year, but I just don't see what makes things better. Voting truly isn't enough. If it was, we wouldn't have gotten here in the first place. Nothing gets done, things take too long, the GOP get their way constantly.

We've moved from "both sides are bad" dem/rep to "both sides are bad" left/lib and it's exhausting. It's not a legitimate position, we know this

i'm fully in favor of seeing openAI get obliterated, because they're a bad business, run badly, but i feel like we can accomplish this without giving into satanic panic 2026. heavy metal didn't turn people into murderers in the 80s, video games didn't do it in the 00s, and chatGPT isn't doing it now
