Wow, they really can't find a use for this expensive, art-stealing, electricity-wasting thing, huh?

CEOs admitting their AI doubts is happening faster than even I had anticipated.

You know what to do: Keep shaming companies for using gen AI. Keep AI cringe!

I'll be honest, even though a lot of people find it performative and cringe, I kinda like the bird art.
At least, the bird art that's made by humans and not AI.

I do not like Springsteen.
But I do not like earnest = cringe more. Honesty and passion are what make my fave art. (Plus human energy take that AI; sometimes the mistakes are the best part.) Anyway, Pretti and Good are named in Bruce's song, preserving them in rock/pop/folk culture.
I saw a critique of Springsteen's new song, it being too earnest and cringe, and if I could just take a second to introduce you to the entire Bruce Springsteen catalogue we could settle this in a heartbeat.

Takeaways from my dentist visit:

I need to get my root canal redone or bad things will happen soon

They can tell I've stopped brushing with an electric toothbrush, because mine broke

The office walls are now littered with framed AI "art," which makes me cringe more than that squealy drill thing

whenever i see my peers/organizers/coworkers using ai to make images for protest signs or community organizing i want to scream and yell and tell them no!!!!! i cringe so hard and i know its convient but please we cannot lose our whimsy to create art or care about the creative process for resistance

nobody says random software guys need to be held socially accountable for art theft because they're cringe (though as a software guy I think using AI to code is cringe) but people who whine about how Bluesky hates AI too much without addressing the art theft are running defense and obvs get hate.
January 26, 2026 at 3:37 PM
I would hope everyone is having an emotional reaction to the life they’re living. Whether you view me as whining or not is irrelevant; claiming that someone producing code with AI needs to be held socially accountable for art theft because of your personal sense of cringe is a stretch! That’s all

Readers of my feed may notice I share a lot of AI related research. Here's my stance on AI:

LLMs (and neural networks) are one of the most exciting scientific developments of all time. They are fascinating.

But I hate AI slop, I cringe at AI art, I hate how every app has AI forced into it now.

I’m at the point where if you are posting or reposting “resistance lib” generative AI art, I’ll probably either mute you or block you. At BEST that shit is hella cringe, and at worst, when it comes to organizing etc, it can be confusing, misleading, or dangerous. Just don’t do it.

Can't believe this needs to be said but...if you use AI in art, that's real awful cringe 😬 in a bad way. Stop it. You're just gonna alienate all the REAL artists out there, not to mention all of the other tons of reasons why AI is bad.

Just unfollowed someone for using AI 😔

"Cringe free"

Open up profile

its full of ai

does mean I get to call the cringe police now or

here, let me get that for you:

putting out art that is "cringe" or "bad" is fine if you're enjoying yourself. Generative AI could never
January 21, 2026 at 7:47 AM
Ugh came across an Ai art account and blocked immediately out of pure cringe.

It depends on how the AI is used. If it's genAI used in the art assets in the puzzles, then yeah, that's cringe... but using an RNG-based AI to create the puzzles themselves is something video games have been doing for decades.

In the case of Heartopia though, it's the former. Fuck them.

137: Anytime I see a family member use AI (on photos), I want to crash out ☺️

Anytime I see AI being advertised, I cringe in disgust.

AI needs to be deleted from all forms of art.

I (unironically) really like that mordetwi art! It's really funny out of context but it's also unapologetic and it shows a lot of passion (unlike AI) ✨

Be cringe be free I guess! 🐦🦄

Hello! This account is an extension of my Twitter (or X if youre cringe like that). I will only post my art here due to the site's new policy on AI. Thanks!!!

I know the cringe I feel when seeing AI art in professional presentations is not something everyone feels but man the disgust I felt from AI music at the beginning of a workshop is something else
January 14, 2026 at 9:22 PM
I don't believe in cringe but there's also nothing more cringe than ai-generated concept art.
January 14, 2026 at 6:31 PM
They’re afraid to fail, afraid to be cringe, to make a lot of garbage before making gold. Generative AI art is not the answer.
this was sort of a generation pro ai music meltdown that we witnessed and she’s just gone silent since this happened
January 11, 2026 at 10:37 PM
I think part of it is the art itself. If a human had created that image by hand I think people would cringe, because it's, well, cringey. I suspect art honoring him from actual artists would yield a different response *even if done w/ AI* because their creativity would go into a better prompt.
January 11, 2026 at 4:14 PM
actually if you're a liberal who uses AI and makes cringe AI lib art (or any AI art for that matter), PLEASE unfollow me as well. I feel like the Venn diagram of these two groups is a circle
