It makes sense to use Curlz when delivering the letter to a Fed Ex employee. If it was a regular font, the letter wouldn't stand out and could get easily lost in a building of letters.

i genuinely dont care how or why it's used, using gen-ai at all is such a slap in the face to every artist larian has ever worked with. none of this is necessary, has ever been necessary. you can literally write gibberish as placeholder text if you need to. it's not that hard

You don't even need to leave Ontario to find international-style LRT signals. Waterloo uses them. The TTC insisted on vehicle-style traffic signals to match the other streetcar lines (which need to use them because international-style LRT signals are illegal for buses to use in Ontario)

This is something I wish people would really internalize about all those AI/LLMs: they don't think, they are designed and so the information that they give you can be manipulated in any way that serves the interests of its owners. Grok is the most obvious example, but all of them do this.

AP article uses the word luminaries to describe Epstein. It drives me nuts when people whose job it is to use words effectively to convey meaning suck at it. Luminary generally has a positive connotation, but I suppose he was a person of brilliant achievement in sex trafficking & abuse.
