I think back on recent comments and I remember that no election if we're or kind of comments. And I wonder well. Gee, if we're at War and we don't have NATO, we'll be kind of screwed, which is just the kind of situation some gambler could take over the country and run it further into the dirt

They have to be making a ton of money on amateur data folks thinking they've found an edge that doesn't actually exist, though.

Like, the overlap between "fucking around with data" and "degenerate gambler" has got to be huge.

You know, thinking about this more — this is literally gambler thinking. “Oh sure i’ve dumped a lot of money into this slot machine and its starting to eat into my mortgage savings, but the next pull is SURE to pay off!”

No wonder Trump loves this shit.

Though I'm not a gambler when it comes to the AI stuff Trump was posting: the map of the US annexing Canada & Greenland etc., the photo of himself & others in Greenland as conquerors, I bet they came from Stephen Miller. Miller is a troll at his core, fixated on dominance & "getting" those he hates.

@TheCinesthetic Philip Seymour Hoffman could hijack a movie in minutes. In Hard Eight (1996), he appears briefly as a loud, coked-up gambler and instantly shifts the film’s energy. PTA has said Hoffman’s intensity forced everyone else to recalibrate the scene.

My optimism is based on history. Trump is a compulsive gambler who will raise the stakes until he loses it all.

If you tried to convince everybody that Trump is a genius and you gradually find out that he's just a loony, many people can't go back without feeling humiliated. Like a gambler trying to win his money back. In the back of their mind they know it's a losing game, but there is this tiny bit of hope.

I’M ONLY DOING MAX-BET SPINS TODAY!
The video titled 'Max Bets Only - High Stakes Slots' captures an exhilarating journey through the world of high-stakes slot machines, featuring an enthusiastic and bold gambler determined to push the limits of his betting strategy. The action opens with a clear proclamation of intent: a commitment to max bets, eschewing any lower stakes or cautious play. This sets the stage for a vibrant and high-energy slot machine experience. The player, adopting a persona of bravado, is ready to engage with the thrill of the game, hinting at a mixture of excitement and trepidation that accompanies high-risk gambling. The narrative quickly shifts to gameplay as the gambler explains his strategy, specifically targeting games like 'Huff and Puff', where he anticipates minimum bets of $25 and hopes to find more lucrative options like a $500 spin. This mention of specific amounts adds a layer of realism to his gambles, showcasing a keen awareness of the games available. His commentary is punctuated by vivid expressions of hopefulness as he anticipates potential wins, yet there’s a palpable tension in his words as he acknowledges the risks involved—hinting at the possibility of needing to dip into the ATM for more funds should luck not be on his side. As he progresses through the machines, viewers are treated to a rollercoaster of emotions. The gambler’s fluctuating fortunes are marked by moments of levity and disappointment, as he hopes for the bonus features and payouts that come with max betting. He shows a clear preference for the thrill of the chase over the more conservative playstyle, reinforcing the video's theme of high-stakes excitement. His frequent calls for specific outcomes—like needing a third saw in the 'Huff and Puff' game—demonstrate how deeply invested he is in the action unfolding on the screen. The video further emphasizes the highs and lows of gambling as the player moves from one machine to another, fully engaged in the ups and downs of slot play. Despite the risks, he maintains an optimistic outlook, perpetually searching for that big win. This lively atmosphere, charged with anticipation and bravado, effectively encapsulates the essence of high-stakes gambling, making for an engaging viewing experience. The viewer is left on the edge of their seat, caught up in the whirlwind of max bets and the hope of big payouts, all while the gambler embraces the chaos with an infectious enthusiasm.

I’m not a gambler but lately I’ve been looking at every turnover, missed shot, dropped pass with suspicion.. Sports gambling is going to ruin Sports..🏀🏈⚾️⚽️🎾
Sports gambling isn’t killing sports in one dramatic moment. It’s all of these small moments adding up, slowly changing how fans trust what they’re watching.

I guess, in many ways… but when I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s the only place you could legally gamble was Vegas, Atlantic City, and church (bingo) and now it’s everywhere and it always turns into a bad situation for the gambler and frequently ruins people’s lives.
