Apple could tell iPhone users very clearly to expect some slowness and heat for a couple days or so while a new iOS update is indexing & other housekeeping — but I can only assume they don't because those symptoms trigger more people to update their hardware.

Really annoyed that not only is the new iOS a visual mess and has broken the usability of some of my widgets, it’s making my phone incredibly slow and buggy. Like I know this 11 Pro is probably on its last legs anyway but it’s very noticeably worse

I’m open to the possibility that there’s something I’m missing, but I’m pretty sure the new iOS update has ruined the cropping function for photos. If you try to reduce vertically, it “helps” you by also reducing horizontally, & vice versa. To just grab a section of a photographed page? Impossible

I have concluded that iOS 26 did the one thing Apple should never, under any circumstances, have allowed: the Camera app takes worse photos.
