I would've had movie one be everything up until their arrival at Erebor (or arrival at Laketown). Movie two would've been the infiltration, the attack of smaug, and the battle of five armies.

I just watched a scene where Gandalf’s staff goes on the fritz and he is saved from a troll when the comically corrupt deputy mayor of Laketown accidentally triggers the catapult he is sitting in, and is flung into the mouth of the troll, which somehow kills them both.
I am watching the end of Battle of the Five Armies (extended cut) for the first time since the theater.

That'd be Bree, Erebor, Horse Lords of Rohan, Laketown, Rivendell, and Heart of the Wild. The adventure books are a bit hit or miss, but if you like premade adventures, they are worth picking up. I definitely recommend Darkening of Mirkwood, regardless, as its fairly unique, covering decades.

Legolas fighting Bolg in Laketown. Which we know from Aragorn v Lurtz can be brilliant.
Except it's weird CGI Bolg v floaty CGI Legolas on a greenscreen. Up close to the camera. Just bad to behold and all because of a change they didn't need to make.

Played a great #mesbg tournament on the 15th with Last Alliance and Lurtz's Scouts at 550 pts. Ended up going 3-1, quite happy with the result with very close G2 and G3.
