#misdiagnose
Excited to see the hospitals when AI is rolled out, it’s obviously not going to misdiagnose.

Sitting here wondering how many medical professionals will use AI to misdiagnose, or worse, kill people.

Anyway, Happy New Year.

If you involuntarily hospitalize me 7 times and then misdiagnose me and the forcefeed me medications that literally fucked my brain longterm

And then expect me to not spend the rest of my life trying to dismantle the medical system entirely?

I dont know what to tell u

Remember, history not only fascinating, but can sometimes be the best way to understand what's happening in the world around us. It helps demystifies & ensures we don't misdiagnose blame.

Here is a digital copy of the original #PowellMemo.

I'd love to wax poetic about psychology on here but I'm afraid that instead of just being interested people would just use it to misdiagnose themselves 🙄

I think medical applications are useful application of LLMs (which is often not what people mean when they say "AI"). In studies, AI models also misdiagnose or miss things, and there's a tendency for humans to overrely on them overtime.

I dislike eroding humans' abilities to the deference of bots.

ATTENTION ⚠️
I have a PHD in the Study of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)it’s a fascinating phenomenon in which those suffering from TDS routinely & confidently misdiagnose others w/the disorder. TDS symptoms
(include & not limited to)
Hatred, Bigotry, Ignorance, Racism & if left untreated FASCISM

"Without a broader system perspective, leaders misdiagnose problems as immediate performance failures. They respond by setting...more granular targets...more centralised management...which...may exacerbate the situation." Not looking at anyone in particular.

This is because they misdiagnose the problem again and again and again

“Oh you are poor? It’s your fault. We must fix you.”

So they work on the person instead of fixing the system

“Are wages paying enough? Are jobs available? Are rents controlled? Are commons open? Are UBIs given?”

Spider-Man is just like me frfr; he too uses YouTube to learn how replace a serpentine belt on his car, how to jailbreak a gaming console & how to misdiagnose the chemically-induced mentally ill 🤷‍♂️

Nicest thing today is coming into baky and see lots and lots of art of my favorite ships. /Puddles on the ground in pain and mucus

Srsly, never let them misdiagnose you antibiotics! My fate could be yours and that sucks.

I regret saying I saw psychiatrists across the past few years who falsely advertised themselves as trans friendly. These psychiatrists would intentionally misdiagnose me with things I had zero symptoms of, for the purpose of using the mental healthcare system for fucking my life over further.

If you misdiagnose the virus - mistake Ebola for a common cold - you die. Pay attention to the virus - Leonard Leo’s Opus Dei Catholic mafia.

No Evangelicals need apply.

There's ZERO societal benefit for AI (yes, even the "medical" variety who'd misdiagnose you) so, absolute win.

Biological warfare also includes refusing to give medication to those who have been infected with parasites; because doctors misdiagnose it.

Crusted scabies
And
A flesh eating parasite carried by South American horn flies, now infecting humans

Deep in thought this morning.

If you're wanting to become a doctor, you HAVE to be able to ADMIT YOU were WRONG.

You took an oath to do no harm.

And when you misdiagnose a patient, that patient should be getting an apology.

I don't think you understand how much closure and validation

"Psychiatrists misdiagnose" crudely

cursing us

Correct. Congress needs to assert its Constitutionally granted power. But you misdiagnose. You assume that the GOP-controlled Congress has abdicated its duty. And Trump is filling that vacuum. Quite the opposite. The Trump/Executive Branch has steamrolled it into compliance/irrelevance.

Fair never really got her tbh, and I’m someone men would misdiagnose as BPD.

It’s all a bit No for me

Not unlike what people do…if someone has the idea ‘Black people are slightly more prone to get this kind of cancer’…and then has a string of patients who are Black with that kind of cancer —subsequently could misdiagnose because they more heavily weigh what they’ve seen even though it’s a fluke.

AI has been used to misdiagnose medical issues. AI has ruined legal cases because of poor research. AI has cost people their jobs. AI helps proliferate misinformation, false stories, and racism. AI has caused literal psychosis in people. But go on. Water drowns people, right, yet I drink it?

And yeah, i think it's pretty common to misdiagnose dementia. It was quite a while before we got an accurate diagnosis for my dad, especially as he was pretty good at hiding his condition in the earlier stages.

The people who aren't antisemitic rightly reject association with them but they unfortunately misdiagnose the problem in their eagerness to do so.
