Though it still has not been litigated as to whether the statute of limitations can be paused for trump pursuant to the DOJ OLC memo stating that you can't prosecute a sitting president. Jack Smith mentioned this in his bid to dismiss the J6 case against Trump without prejudice.
For whatever it's worth... we've reached the statute of limitations on most Jan 6 crimes today

Trivial.... because Trump Admin shuttered the Jan 6 investigations and prosecutions, after the pardons were issued

I am concerned that this could prejudice a jury but it might actually be worth the risk. What a world.
Mayor Jacob Frey: "They are already trying to spin this as an action of self defense. Having seen the video myself, I want to tell everybody directly that is bullshit."

There is a turbulent, terrifying space between ICE agents and immigrants, between prejudice and the Latino community, between a sinful political force and the diverse human beings made in the image of God.

You are called to stand bravely in the space.

The only reason he didn't was probably liability and jury prejudice, since that's what they will want to charge the agent with.

The US has this odd cultural imperative to "grow out" of books with illustrations. It's a good idea to question this belief and see that there's no value in it. Just an old prejudice.
What a weird world we live in. Both my kids were started on picture books, so the next step for them was destined to be the library’s huge shelves of graphic novels! They still love reading them as well as other books. I’ll never understand anyone who discourages their kids from reading.

Marimar Martinez, shot in her car multiple times by a Border Patrol agent—thankfully wasn't killed—then accused of a crime for it. Charges dismissed with prejudice.

Reportedly, the ICE shooter in Minneapolis killed a woman.

They're trying the same excuse. Based on the record, assume it's a lie.

Texts from the Border Patrol agent who fired at Martinez revealed he apparently bragged about the shooting to others, stating in one message that he’d “fired 5 rounds and she had 7 holes. Put that in ...

As a reminder: this happened here in Chicago, though without loss of life. ICE agents shot an observer/protester in her car. They initially claimed she illegally threatened ICE officers with her car.

All charges were eventually dropped, with prejudice.

Blocking With Extreme Prejudice Rules Apply.

It means I am not in a fucking mood for “you’re just figuring this out now” or “this is so obvious lol” or “why are you talking about this with Venezuela” or any of the other personality disordered Bluesky loser horseshit.

Why is *anyone* using it?!

What *is* your red line for non-participation if not targeted prejudice, overt discrimination, or child abuse...

I just assume anyone actively using twitter is severely mentally unwell.
Given that Grok/X is enabling the production of misogynistic and child abuse images, why are ANY Labour MPs still on there…?

By maintaining their accounts they are legitimating this horror.

Bondi keeps flagrantly breaking court rules banning extrajudicial comments that prejudice a defendant’s right to a fair trial. Judges in the Mangione and Abrego Garcia cases warned her to stop. Maduro’s judge will too. How many people’s rights must she trample on before she’s sanctioned?
Bondi is now parroting Trump's confused talking points: "Don't forget that Maduro emptied his prisons, he emptied insane asylums and let those people come into our country during the last administration, and President Trump stopped it."

Funny how this Manage My Health debacle has been framed as not political, whereas literally *everything* that happens when the other lot’s in power is sheeted back to a minister. And with extreme prejudice.
