This is how I bare the light. This is how I want to be seen: happy, a little gross, and soft. I want people to pet me like I’m a dog. I want to be treated softly. I want to treat myself softly. I need this forgiveness, for every flower I’ve trampled. I need to spread it, grow it, dandelions, daisies, the way my grandmother showed me. For every dead thing, seven new things grow. My 2025 art summary! As per tradition here's my art summary for 2025!! It's kinda crazy how much art I was able to draw in one year. My yearly folder capped out at a little over 200 drawings. I do not expect that much output in the coming year bc the Hyrule Warriors drawings are done so I don't currently have a large project I'm working on. Overall I think I've improved a lot and those HW drawings really helped that. It was a great chance to flex my creative design muscles a bit. I made an animatic, finished some very old drawings, redrew some old drawings, and revisited old fandoms. I've even began drawing my OCs again behind the scenes and have started reworking them. Here's hoping I can keep that up lol Thank you to everyone that's continued to support me on my artistic journey. It means so much to me that y'all have stuck by me this long. I hope the next year brings great things.

6/27: Sparkster
Here’s the confusingly titled sequel to Rocket Knight Adventures. After the first game, there were two sequels, both called Sparkster. One on Genesis, one on Super Nintendo. This is the Genesis one. I figured I should get my money’s worth since I bought the whole trilogy. Sparkster on Genesis does not have the sauce of the original. They messed up the controls and totally changed how attacking works. And they made it ugly as hell. The original was so cute, what happened! It’s not a BAD game, per se, but it’s much less cool and fun than the first one. It’s just weird that they even made this. While still not as good as the original, Sparkster on SNES is a big improvement over Sparkster on Genesis. It’s a little cuter again, and the movement is a little better than the second entry. The biggest downside was, the bosses are probably the hardest of the trilogy. I got really stuck on the final couple levels, even despite cheating with save states. There’s a boss that’s like Punch-Out!! with giant space mechs, and I swear you need to be frame-perfect to beat it. It wasn’t fun. But the rest of my time was mostly enjoyable.

You can put in a "lost package" request on their website when it gets stuck like that. It usually gets it moving again, tho tbh that might work particularly well for me because my friend's husband works at my area's distribution center and I always bitch to her when a package gets stuck loool.

Again, and this will be the last time I say this. I didn’t say anything about them going to a normal court to be disciplined, I said that they need to be disciplined and they need to be charged. I also said that they are NOT above the law. Do you comprehend that now? Or you still stuck on stupid?
