The TravelLodge London City Road was the speaker hotel, and was actually pretty solid when I was there last.
I do sometimes stay at Crowne Plaza at Heathrow Terminal 4 if I want a reasonably-priced, consistent, nice hotel with working air conditioning.
The Liz Line makes that very doable.

Toastergate has reached a conclusion.
After going through a bit of an existential crisis I have had a moment of clarity and decided it would be simpler to move into a travellodge and just use their toast conveyor belt thing.

Honestly, have any of these folk who want immigrants out of hotels ever stayed in a travellodge or the like? 'Hotel' doesn't mean lap of luxury. I can imagine many of the 'hotels' are more like hostels too. And I bet whole families are forced to share one hotel room.
