Tomorrow the Epstein survivors will storm Capitol Hill to demand release of the files. I hope new Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva is sworn in at their press conference by another judge or official who is authorized to do so (doesn’t have to be the Speaker).

I fly a ton. I know there are many reasons. Search on Burbank...FAA...government shutdown. 25 years, 100s of landings at this airport
...a first. Fair to ask if it's a coincidence. Landed safely...so that's good.
kprather.bsky.social
First one for me in 100's of landings to this airport over 25 years...I'd say that's not really common. Reasonable to wonder if FAA reduction is part of the reason...see Burbank.

Me too! I know it's one runway...after hundreds of simple landings, this was my first go-round...better safe than sorry!

"Look, the President clearly has some kind of dementia" should be how Democrats begin every single comment to reporters these days.

Ruben Gallego on whether Trump is talking to Democrats:

“Look, the President clearly has some kind of dementia, so I think there's a he's probably talking to himself, or think he's talking to a Democrat, but I sincerely doubt that that's actually he's actually physically talking to a Democrat.“

A first...was just landing at San Diego Airport...same path as I've done 100s of times...went by Balboa Park dome...suddenly plane picked up speed. We then took off...now circling. Not normal. Anything to do with less FAA due to gov shutdown? Certainly suspicious.

Now is not the time to be afraid...if we show it to these sick freaks, it will only get much worse.

I forget-- who controls the White House, Senate, and House?
chrismurphyct.bsky.social
This has nothing to do with crime. This is an attempt to crush political dissent.

Never before, in our entire 250 year history, has the military or immigration agents been used like this. It's dystopian, illegal, and it should stop.

IN HONOR OF FRIENDSHIP MONTH:

djt: "We have certain things in common, Jeffrey."

Epstein: "Yes we do, come to think of it."

djt: "A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday- and may every day be another wonderful secret."

And by "wonderful secret", he means raping children.

When people are hired, not for their honesty or competency, but for their ability to be snarling trolls on TV for the delight of their immature and unpleasant boss, you get an AG like Pamela Jo Bondi.

Trump's tweet that Portland is "war ravaged" just backfired. A Trump-picked judge cited it in blocking National Guard deployment to Portland, declaring him "untethered from facts."

On the pod, Oregon AG Dan Rayfield illuminatingly explains the ruling and what's next:

Trump on pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell: Haven't heard the name in so long. I’ll take a look at it. I’ll speak to the DOJ. A lot of people have asked me for pardons.

Reporter: But she’s convicted of sex trafficking

Trump: I’ll have to take a look at it.

Took a major tumble last night after stepping in a hole (missing sidewalk brick) in DC. Trump should focus on sidewalk repairs instead of lawns and launching a civil war! Thanks to the two kind men who helped me & my sister!! Nothing broke...just a few bumps and bruises. Could have been much worse.

Amsterdam has 1.2 million people. 20% turned out to protest. The world is watching what is happening in Gaza.

If we could get 20% of Americans in the streets on October 18th, it would go a long way toward ending the fascist nightmare we are all experiencing.
