So yeah, no that's really what it's called. The Monstrance is usually only ever brought out on specific holy days for veneration during which it's displayed on the altar of the church (an altar btw which usually houses a holy relic)

One last: I live in a dry climate (about 3-7 inches of rain a year more than official desert). This means filament behaves very well for me without having to do dry boxes or use much desiccant, but both Bree and Alyssa ARE in damp climates, so the machines are now more condition tolerant.

If James visits the home regularly then it is available to her for personal use, which means it is not a “rental investment property” as defined by the mortgage rider…and therefore negates the central claim of the indictment

NYT reports that Letitia James’s great niece lives in the home that is the subject of the indictment.

The niece reportedly testified before a *different* grand jury, telling them that she had lived there for many years without paying rent. James visits regularly.

It was just inconsistently wound In the middle. There were low spots at each edge that would make the higher layers in the center collapse into the low spots, which meant there would be pinch points, and the AMS does some tensioning by winding filament back onto the spool that made it worse.

It was the same spool that was badly wound. I think I just need to figure out how to load TPU (the really squishy, flexible filament) so I can print a couple of guides and start making use of my filament winder.

But yeah, I probably won’t buy that one again.

I've been saying Depression for a while. You can't carve this many people from (stable!) federal jobs, not have jobs open in the private sector to absorb them (or anyone else), and have the price of *everything* continuously rise. Something's going to break.

Sex ed for young children focuses on teaching kids what touching is inappropriate and what to do about it, which *fights* child sex abuse. LGBTQ+ inclusion fights bullying.

These bigots call it "grooming" to teach kids to not bully and to report sexual abuse.

That's what's really sick.

I am so happy with it, it really is such a step up from DIY your PRUSA or whatever Monoprice was foisting off. And the A1 is not even more expensive, but just works better!

That said, having seen their work, I have no issues recommending the A1 at all. It’s a solid platform and a very reasonable intro.

I picked Bambu because I had excellent recommendations from @mostlybree.kitrocha.com and @measuredandslow.bsky.social and had seen their work.

The software is very well integrated, I’m an Apple user, so I don’t have big problems with walled gardens, and I don’t find theirs intrusive.

This is our 5th 3d printer, and it is the FIRST one I would recommend. The tech has finally come far enough that they print reliably.
I picked a Bambu P1S because I needed the enclosure (I put it in my garage, so I wanted the containment) and I wanted the AMS (multiple spool feeds). However —

Using up the last of a spool of frustrating dark blue matte PLA and am determined to use every last gram of that badly wound shite. (It makes a nice print, it was just wound like they let a kaiju kitten loose in the spooling department).
Am down to scraps and feeding them manually because FUCK THIS.
