Chuck Dixon created Bane. I don't bring this up to argue that creating that character somehow negates his current behavior, but to talk about a problem very prevalent in comics. And that is bigoted people making bank off the very marginalized groups they later demonize and discredit.

Reminder that I'll be in Winchester, VA this Saturday for a Halloween event at @fourcolorfantasies.bsky.social. I'll be signing comics, doing sketches and bringing original art to look at and possibly buy. Haven't done an out-of-town siging in over a decade, at least. Hope to see some folks there.
