Just got in the car, turned on the radio and immediately hear EAS tones which, given the weather right now was not surprising, but instead of following up with a weather alert it just starts playing Raining Blood by Slayer

Here’s a cartoon I drew in MS Paint a few years ago based on some actual crows I saw while walking to work one morning

1st three panels: a crow alights on a wire next to a couple of his friends, they greet each other and exchange some pleasantries

Middle panel(s): the new crow looks down and sees a fourth crow lying dead on the ground and starts freaking out. “OH SHIT OH FUCK YOU GUYS THERES A FUCKIN DEAD GUY DOWN THERE! CAW CAW!”

Panel 7: crow #2 says “so? It’s just Carl”

Panel 8: Crow #1: “what, you mean like CARL Carl?”. Crow #2: “yeah, man. Carl.”

Huge Achewood fan since forever. Dan Clowes, Chris Ware, Jeff Smith, Craig Thompson all come to mind. I really liked Lars Brown’s Northworld. Goofy, offbeat slice of life stuff or sort of non-traditional fantasy are probably my favorite genre.

If you know basic kabbalah it's actually not too hard to make a golem out of a labubu. Don't recommend it though. They have a pre-existing body-dharma. As soon as they wake they run straight for the sea. V hard to counter. Lost the first one. No idea what it's doing out there. Moved like lightning.
