Being gross and greasy always gives me dysphoric feelings. I feel worse with unwashed hair, and uncleansed skin. This is very common, a piece of advice I got that was useful was "a dysphoric episode can be mitigated by taking a shower 75% of the time"

2. While I don't want to open the can of worms that is transmedicalism, it made me understand that dysphoria - or at least whatever version of it I experience - is a genuine *medical problem* that has medical solutions. My brain needs estrogen to work properly and its likely been that way forever.
