Phoebe did an absolutely incredible job understanding and communicating our research, even as the latest tragic events were unfolding. Give her article a read for a better understanding of the online subcultures that can drive children to violence.

I’d been speaking w/ these researchers since the night of the Madison attack. That day, they quickly located the shooter in the online network they were tracking. We were writing THAT story this week. Then Nashville happened, and the researchers realized: another one.

Hi hello did you know that Elon Musk's third Neuralink patient (previously nonverbal) is "getting help from Grok" to communicate

and I hope -- I REALLY HOPE -- he's not stuck in his own brain listening as a robot talks for him without his input because this, to me, would be worse than death
This patient’s Neuralink brain implant gets a boost from generative AI
A patient who types with his brain thanks to a Neuralink implant is using AI chatbots to speed things up.

I see Trump got *his* COVID booster
A formal memo on White House letterhead dated October 10, 2025, from Sean P. Barbabella, D.O., the Physician to the President, addressed to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. It reports that Donald J. Trump completed a follow-up evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, showing “excellent overall health.” The memo highlights “stable metabolic, hematologic, and cardiac parameters,” claims his “cardiac age” is 14 years younger than his actual age, and notes he received “preventive health screenings and immunizations, including annual influenza and updated COVID-19 booster vaccinations.” The summary concludes that he remains in “exceptional health.” The juxtaposition of praise-filled medical language with the mention of COVID vaccination reads like unintentional satire, as though the document is trying too hard to sound reassuring while betraying its own irony.

Hard not to contemplate about how the prepper that I was dating a number of years ago was right about a lot of the things that were about to happen (and are happening now)

I just didn't realize until it was too late that they intended to enter the upcoming collapse on the side of the collapse

My publisher’s been very patient. I’m not doing everything I said I’d do to promote this book (out in a few weeks) because I’m an organizer in a city under federal attack. My days are full and emotionally exhausting. Any help getting the word out means a lot. It's a book people need right now.

Also, Wizard Frog has done more to fight fascism in a week than the entire legion of 'read theory' posters has ever done.

This video is everywhere because it's a hilarious visual refutation of Portland being on fire. You can't get a mass movement going without convincing the masses

so yes, this does do something actually

This literally does nothing. You are not beating fascism by dressing up in inflatable suits and dancing

Portland is leading the way. This is how you (non violently) beat Fascism. Humor and ridicule are key.

and yes, very obviously they will be happy to claim any such grandmas were dangerous antifa terrorists, and some people will believe them. but there are still limits to their control over reality.

It doesn't work exactly as advertised but it often does change the course of events regardless. I think recognizing that, rather than trying to argue with meticulous logic, will get progressives much further in their goals.

The Speaker of the House is telling the Fox News audience that a peaceful demonstration by Americans on the National Mall will actually be a gathering of organizations the administration has designated as violent terrorists.

Seems bad?

I ended this article with a section called "AltNPS Can't Change." In it, I argue that the account owes its surge in popularity to its manufactured image as a rogue government operative, and that it has trapped itself in an endless cycle of needing to maintain this image. Hence, all the plagiarism.

antifa bogeyman in nutshell: label whomever opposition is "antifa" — in this case Resistance 2.0 "No Kings" folks — creating pretext to target them w/ state/vigilante violence

also sews division, w/ moderates fretting abt appearing too extreme, making them punch left, undercutting solidarity
