Battletech is still a major problematic fave, but *genuinely* has a lack of black character issue. I get it, it's hard to create a black nation or the idea of a black nation without black writers at the table. Maybe that's something worth thinking about.

The setting of #Battletech is bizarrely hard to parse, and only because of it's sheer scale and the detail poured into it. In terms of mapped scale, only the Third Imperium in Traveller is on par or bigger. But the detailed breakdowns? For hundreds and hundreds of planets? It sets Batteltech...1/3
