The abuse/poverty/isolation of autistic women is a lot. My great-grandfather's sister Annie was autistic from every description I've heard of her. She died by suicide alone in a YWCA in the 1930s. I don't think I've ever shared that but I think of her all the time.

I would actually expect this to hit deep red states the hardest. Their governments will not fill the gap, and they already have weak regulatory oversight and weak social services.

When we created this ride, it was supposed to be a joyous celebration of community. Since then kidnappings have increased substantially and vendors are terrified. We will not back down and our ride will continue in a way that keeps vendors safe. We take care of us. ✊🏽
