The more I think about it, the more I think JB Pritzker is playing a long game to use the system to beat the admin in court.

One’s opinion on whether this is a good or bad move depends entirely on if you think the system will hold, or if you even believed in the system to begin with.

As a massive Shepard Fairey fan who also once made a living as a photographer, I think the copyright thing is massively overblown and I mostly think he was in the right. The worst thing he did was lie about it and try to destroy the evidence.

As for disavowing Obama, not sure I’d say that’s true…

Years ago, when I made the tough decision to cancel my Cubs season ticket package, I told the rep explicitly that it was because I was uncomfortable with my money going to support far right politics.

She was flabbergasted and didn’t know what to say, but promised pass it on.
