There are lots of things you can do to resist the influence of big tech. This simple call to action shares a few, along with a list of some of the biggest companies supporting ICE.

A thing I worked on for a month rolled out buggy this week. My boss responded that that's why he wouldn't have solved the problem how I did, which would have been nice to hear while I was solving the problem. Another coworker said don't worry boss, I'll solve it that way in 1 day.

I went for a walk today around my neighborhood during my lunch hour because it finally warmed up a bit, and saw this sign.

DHS, ICE, and CBP are not rogue. They were designed to violate our rights under the pretense of security.

Thanks to FOX 32 for having me on this morning to discuss food delivery robots in the 1st Ward. Based on feedback from our resident survey, there will be no expansion of sidewalk robot deliveries in the ward. Thanks to everyone who took the time to weigh in. www.fox32chicago.com/video/fmc-sf...

This is very dumb framing. Everyone can get where we're going, there's a dozen bridges.
After bridge closures cause chaos Downtown and on the North Side, aldermen have moved to add oversight. blockclubchi.co/4rHTz51

Today I'm wearing my Chicago abortion fund sweatshirt to work. I missed adding my support trans lives pin this morning but usually wear one of those daily. Telling the people around me my politics makes it easier for them to share their politics too, and knowing you aren't alone is always great.
Please don't accuse people in knitted hats of only wearing their supposed politics if all you're doing is posting, which is basically just another way of wearing your politics. It's a silly thing to attack people over in any case. Using fashion to signal support for ongoing acts of rebellion is good

Seems bad that a billionaire controls the satellites used to fly military drones into other countries and can enable or disable those attacks on his whim.

You can make sure the seat next to you on the train or bus stays empty by telling Brandon Johnson that it's a mayoral appointment position.

IL High Speed Rail Commission will finalize its final report to the legislature by July without the input from Chicago. The city is not officially involved in the commission because the appointed seat for the city on the board is vacant and can only be appointed by the Mayor's Office.
