The amount of grief, information overload and unease we are all experiencing in cycle after cycle is affecting us all in different ways.

Fascism is incredibly cognitively invasive and manifests in waves through our lives.

We must learn to treat ourselves with grace as the noise increases.

Giles, my chonky brown and black mackerel tabby, sits on the far end of my gray couch, his back somewhat propped up against a throw pillow. His right back foot dangles off the edge of the couch, and his little front paws are pressed up together against the side of the armrest. Giles looks out the balcony windows as if contemplating the world.

There are reports that the *entire* office of special education at the US Dept of Education has been cut. These hardworking folks ensure kids with disabilities get equal access to a quality education.

America’s children deserve better than this.
