Equally important, Soren isn’t beholden to all of the corporate interests and PACs propping up his opponent.

Do you want a candidate who listens to and is beholden to their constituents (Soren)? or one answering to the corporate landlords who don’t live here, but are funding their campaign (Josh)?

Today marks the first time I’ve maxed out my donations to a political candidate. I can’t think of a better recipient than @sorenwithward8.bsky.social Soren has the background, skills and empathy needed to be a champion for Ward 8 and Minneapolis.

Was told Ward 8 challenger Josh Bassais had Jacob Frey on his web site but has taken Frey off now. Wayback Machine hasn’t archived, but Frey isn’t there now. Anyone have the inclusion they can post? Anyway, Bassais was featuring Frey about a month ago, after being coy for months. Winds changed back?

When he first ran for mayor, Jacob Frey tried to convince residents that he would make police reforms, since the mayor is in charge of MPD saying, “That’s the mayor’s job.”

But now that he’s in charge, Frey is skirting accountability for the promotion of the officer who killed Amir Locke.

Asked for comment on the new billboard against Frey, a representative for Sabri said, "Minneapolis has suffered for the last 7 years with this poseur who utterly lacks vision, integrity or a moral core. This city cannot be led by a chameleon. We have three great leaders running to serve and collaborate with all of us. Men of color who are led by conviction, passion and frankly love for this city. We can recover but we will not if we don’t choose hope and leave this nonsensical liar behind."

my all of mpls write up is more diligently researched than the star tribune. i still have to update it for the latest campaign finance report but i listed every donor’s ward and excluded business address donations because that’s a tactic to hide their real address. strib didn’t differentiate there

when i broke down all the donors to all of mpls, i included their wards and noted which ones were donating under the company address, because i searched every single address to find this information out, and i then excluded the company ones from my g graph. this. is. not. hard!

another star tribune failure in not mentioning that john wall doesn't even live in minneapolis. it's clear they only read the decision, they didn't request hearing audio to listen, and we know they didn't send anyone to cover it, i was the only one there!
