Thought about this thread I made a couple years ago, imported from Twitter. Since then, someone's made a JP/EN comparison video, though it's a bummer they dropped out the Japanese audio. But it's the best way to visualize how both versions of the cutscene are wildly different from each other.

I appreciate the energy behind the No Kings protest—it’s a net positive. But it feels a lot like the Women’s March, channeling and containing people’s activism instead of expanding it. What comes after? Does No Kings offer a path forward, or just a release valve that drains our energy?

I highly encourage people to get involved more directly. Large general protests are 100% good and useful, but more targetted protests or activism should also be where you go next. Like get involved in anti-ICE activism in your city for example - helping to coordinate disrupting their activities.

million people across America’s cities, we are committed to providing our communities with
every opportunity to support and improve health.
“We are united behind a simple message: get vaccinated.
“Vaccines have eradicated devastating diseases and saved millions of lives. They keep
classrooms safe and schools open. They allow children to spend time with friends and enjoy
their favorite activities. They help parents and caregivers work to support their families.
“Despite this extraordinary success, vaccination rates are declining in many parts of the United
States, and deadly outbreaks of diseases like measles and polio are becoming more frequent.
We are deeply troubled by the repeated false claims about vaccines from too many federal
officials, which have contributed directly to these trends. We are equally concerned about
recent changes to the recommended childhood and adult immunization schedules that
unnecessarily limit access to vaccines. It is imperative that federal health leaders follow the lead
of pediatricians and medical researchers and support vaccination to protect our children,
families, and communities.
“Nothing matters more to us than protecting the health of those we serve. With respiratory
virus season rapidly approaching, we strongly encourage all Americans to tune out the political
noise about vaccines. Instead, talk with your doctor and other trusted health care providers or
public health officials about which vaccines are right for you and your loved ones.

corruption is such a helpful lens for understanding so much of what is broken right now. all of these people actually need accountability. allowing them to act with impunity just lets them make all manner of bad decisions. we need to help them rediscover boundaries

If you're a writer/other creator in the United States, consider creating an LLC for your business and then signing up for a local area Chamber of Commerce. Many of them have health insurance plans that pool their members and members of other CoCs to create insurance efficiencies relative to ACA.
