Fascinating story about a “ghost” concept car that was designed in 1939 but possibly/maybe/probably not actually built at the time, and only discovered when the sketches were found in a barn decades later.

I guess I wasn't too far fetched with my conclusions when they announced that 'too many people' were using the assault class, as it's the most similar one to the gameplay of CoD...

Interesting, because historically the issue I've faced the most when playing Battlefield games was an excess of snipers. It can really ruin a match.
I guess this means they've now successfully attracted a big portion of CoD players 🤔

DICE keeps trying to balance Battlefield because Assault is "too popular," but Battlefield isn't a hero shooter. Classes are not meant to be equally popular. www.pcgamer.com/games/fps/by...

Guys, every person you see on Fox News in a mask is just Robert O'Neill, retired Navy Seal and occasional Fox News contributor. He's the former Antifa, former Gazan, former gang member. His eyes are very unique.

The Japanese Mario 64 official strategy guide is an incredible thing. "Can we make little hand-made dioramas of all the levels?" "Sure, why the hell not."

Truly the scope of 0451 will probably outlive all other cultural elements I've ever contributed to.

Very pleased to inform everyone that Hello Kitty Island Adventure is a 0451 game #hkia
A screenshot of Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The character Cherry asks the player “what’s the password?” and the four potential answers are:
- Open sesame!
- Let me in!
- 0451!
- Uh… admin?

More than anything, I think the Halo series was a key asset in popularizing FPS games on consoles.

If your placeholder assets aren't clearly placeholders, you'll forget to replace them

Back in ~1999, the art director for some dollhouse game made a temporary diamond-shaped model for their character UI. By the time he realized they hadn't replaced it, it was too late and it shipped as-is. Oops!

The concept of cats is so good. You have this little, beautifully eyed furball made of the softest material you've ever touched, and all of a sudden it has teeth and claws.

Hey! Akupara is turning 9, and they're running discounts accross their catalogue! This includes my first child, Etherborn. If you haven't played it, it's your opportunity to get it for the price of a latte!

Since today's discourse is on how "not everyone grew up with Nintendo", I'll reshare this: medium.com/@felipepepe/...

And reinforce that this is systemic - a consequence of US hegemony. It's NOT a personal attack on American journos, youtubers & gamers, but rather a reminder of our differences.

Btw I don't mean that intricate = autism. But I've noticed that having a high capacity to become part of the fantasy, to the point of turning it into a massive, interconnected mechanism, is kind of tied to it. This is the first 3D game I ever designed: youtu.be/lmerarz0AMM?...

Wait you're autistic too? In hindsight, I should've guessed by your intricate designs. They really tingle the insides of my own autistic brain
