In fact, what Musk is doing to Tesla is a smaller version of what Trump is doing to America: fleecing it while running it into the ground.

Why the hell is Musk getting a $29 billion raise?
It’s authoritarian capitalism

"Get a real job" is devastating
A lot of folks may think that just yelling at ICE agents is ineffective, but consider the cumulative psychological toll of being yelled at EVERY DAY when trying to do shit. Even the biggest asshole in the world who doesn't give a shit about other people will feel the pressure.

Meiselas: Scott Perry says that Democrats join the military just so they can run for office — and that Democrats hate the military.

Deluzio: Just an unbelievable load of bullshit. I’d dare him to go say that in front of the Democrats in his district who are veterans — there are thousands of them.

It’s easy to gloss over the details in his daily madness.

He basically admits he is using tariffs to be petty and vindictive.

Nothing to do with the economy.

Not a care for those it hurts on both sides of the border.

Let’s see who in Congress calls him out.

Trump raises tariffs on Canada by 10% in retaliation for anti-tariff TV ad
Move is response to ad sponsored by Ontario that referenced Ronald Reagan’s support for free trade

You know Trump is the kind of operator to target small potatoes drug runners on behalf of the drug lords. That’s just good business.

Rule of Law Alert: Trump’s authority for country-specific tariffs comes from the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, which doesn’t mention tariffs—but does require a national emergency.

An ad showing that Reagan opposed tariffs surely is not a national emergency. (It may be a personal one)

The ex-prosecutor also said this:

“I have a lot of close contacts in law enforcement, and almost to a person, none of them support these actions. As a lawyer, someone who adamantly believes in the rule of law, watching it in open sight in front of my house just be completely eroded…it’s upsetting.”

Here in Seattle, furloughed NOAA employees were out in the pouring rain cleaning up beaches yesterday, part of a national week of service organized by federal workers who can't do their jobs due to the shutdown.

SNAP is not the reason your taxes are high.

SNAP recipients don’t need to “just go get a job”.

Most of them work. The rest are disabled, elderly, children or caregivers.

People need & deserve assistance

Your taxes fund wars and tax cuts for the ultra rich

Be mad about that

Quote from Timothy Mellon, who donated $130 million to the U.S. military, so you know who we’re dealing with:

“Black people, in spite of heroic efforts by the "Establishment" to right the wrongs of the past, became even more belligerent and unwilling to pitch in to improve their own situations”.

Timothy Mellon is the donor of the $130 million for the troops.

In case you’re wondering what he’s like, he said in his autobiography that Black people have become “even more belligerent” because of social programs, and people who receive government assistance are slaves.

I haven’t seen anyone talk about how Jane Doe - an Epstein survivor - just sued the Bank of New York Mellon for funding Epstein and failing to file a Suspicious Activity Report. A Mellon heir is the one who gave $130M to pay the troops. Seems bribey to me.

A whole bunch of Americans died in a field in PA trying to stop Osama Bin Laden’s cronies from destroying the WH.

That asshole just destroyed the WH for him.

The terrorists must be so pleased.

TACO accomplished what Al Qaeda could not,

while all the mouth breathing “patriots” let him do it.

The last time Trump was legally required to leave power, he attempted a coup.

When the law said he couldn’t hold office again, the Supreme Court pretended it said he can.

Of course they’ll try to hold power after 2028, making up whatever BS they need to. Doesn’t mean it’ll work, but they’ll try.
I tend to think the Medvedev scenario is more far fetched. It makes an election hard. I would not be remotely shocked if we see a legal challenge to whether the 22nd Amendment meant two *consecutive* terms.
