A most unwell Large White caterpillar on our wall today. I believe the cocoons below are those of the parasitoid Cotesia glomerata, and the adults wasps look like they may be Lysibia nanus. Any confirmation/correction very welcome as always.

well I have since drawn a sweat bee, so can complete this #SciArt #invertebrates checkerboard 🐝

a black/white checkerboard of insects from the Hymenopteran order which includes bees, wasps and ants, from top left to bottom right:
- a blood red and black bee with orangey wings (on black)
- a dark brown orange red and black hornet, looks kind of fuzzy (on white)
- a tawny mining bee, really fuzzy with an orange thorax and yellow abdomen (on black)
- a spider parasitoid wasp, tiny black with curly antennae and spikes on the legs (on white)
- a light orange fire and with a tiny stinger protruding in the back (on black)
- a bee with jewel like green eyes, light yellow and black stripes (on white)
- extremely fuzzy bee, chubby leg warmers, wings folded on the back hiding the abdomen partially (on black)
- a red velvet ant, which is actually a wingless parasitoid wasp, black legs, two black bands ont he abdomen and the rest is bright fuzzy red (on white)

Und das ist in erster Linie, andere möglichst öffentlich zu beschämen und Leute zu canceln.“ Sobald es Teil des gesellschaftlichen Umgangs miteinander sei, „dass immer irgendjemand angeprangert oder moralisch angefeindet wird, dann können die Rechten das alle übernehmen. Das ist das, was in den USA passiert ist. Und deshalb sage ich: Wehret den Anfängen!“
