Pritzker & Broadview have done a lot to separate ICE from the protesters, but that's just led to state & local clashes instead.

All they've gotten in return are bigger & more violent raids while ICE claims it still needs Natl Guard protection. It's time for a different strategy.

usually people say “police state” to mean a government that uses police to exercise an extreme level of control but the US is a “police state” in that the police all but run the state and are generally more powerful than mayors and governors

The Office of Management and Budget sent a notification to Congress about their intent to use research and development funds to pay members of the military, two sources with direct knowledge tell NBC News.

A spokesperson for the OMB confirmed to NBC News that it plans to use the research and development funds and that there are two years' worth of funds available within the Department of Defense.
