I am honestly unsure at this point if the government will ever open back up in its previous form. The RIFs coupled with what will likely be massive nationwide protests on the 18th is, I think, going to push Miller and co. into trying to create an alternate structure to consolidate more power.

They like what Trump is doing, this really isn't hard. It's not both-sideism, it's running cover for the regime by choice in order to reach a desired outcome. Can we please stop cutting this institution slack it does not deserve?
