Wow, a clinical trial manipulated to produce results aligned with the conflicts of interest held by the MD running it, producing misinformation that would endanger patient lives, and then covered up by the university using the excuse of privacy?

Imagine that.

We wouldn’t be in this mess if they were dealing with COVID but foolishly they are failing to prevent infections which is costing us billions in lost GDP. I don’t understand why this hasn’t been challenged. www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Please don’t call child rape that.

It’s a re traumatizing term for a horrific crime & should never be lumped in & normalized with pornography

This here is why we’ve suffered the backlash against social justice and DEI and such: the attempt to frame racism as unfortunate but normal while the “woke” are the weird outliers. A fight for what speech is acceptable. Thread 👇🏼

the end is always to define what is acceptable in a society. it's not really a "both sides are doing it" thing, because that is the reason for the existence of the sides. without the it there would be nothing for the sides to do. it is, ultimately, a moral question, there's no getting around it

Yes your taxes should support disabled people.

They should support homeless people.

They should support those living in poverty, children and the elderly.

This is literally the purpose of taxes, and I would far rather support those who need it than continue to enrich the elite.

High levels of chemicals are produced by the body early in infection to mobilise the infection fighting cells.

Those chemicals also irritate the heart making it jumpy.

And by jumpy, I do mean dead.

Agree. Right after the war, there were a lot of ex GI's walking around with the habit, the skill, the means, and the desire to kill nazis. Some had PTSD. The nazis here had to closet themselves.

In 🇨🇦 they put income caps on the disabled person’s FAMILY so if they live with a spouse or parents, the govt takes away disability payment $ to force the family to sacrifice their own$ to support the disabled person(the govt WANTS the family to be burdened-NOT supported,& to resent their added cost)
