In 🇨🇦 they put income caps on the disabled person’s FAMILY so if they live with a spouse or parents, the govt takes away disability payment $ to force the family to sacrifice their own$ to support the disabled person(the govt WANTS the family to be burdened-NOT supported,& to resent their added cost)

It’s not truly standardized bc you can’t compare test results to another year’s test

They skew math Qs to make them confusing(eg calling🎲a”fair sided cube”)then say math skills have dropped

EQAO Scorers are told to raise or drop grades based on overseer’s orders(usually for specific postal codes)

Standardized testing rant:

Standardized means the same for all, even when it is not equitable or fair.

This means that a nonverbal child is not allowed to point to the letters they know.

If they can’t SAY the letters aloud they score zero on the test.

This is the worst timeline.

I’m very very tired of “living in fear” being lobbed at maskwearers by people who frequently say they can’t wear one because no one else around them is.

Living in fear is ignoring science and endangering lives and your own health because you’re terrified of not fitting in.

This video of a 15 year old girl being violently detained by ICE made the rounds on Friday.

Many people, including DHS, tried to claim it wasn’t recent. It wasn’t ICE. She was a violent criminal.

Illinois Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi is demanding accountability.

I hope he gets it for her.
