I like a lot of different stuff, but you'll probably see a lot of Trigun and danmei stuff because those are my current special interests.

I'm making a Youtube recommendation thread. It's going to be pretty horror movie heavy, with some being reaction based and others analysis based. So if you're looking for something new to watch, maybe check these out!
Do you like horror movies? Do you like movies not in English?

Then I recommend The Horror Mine on Youtube! The Horror Mine goes over horror movies and rates them on how scary they are. He's more of a recap channel than a straight review channel, but also a good way to discover new movies!

My clergy friends, I know you so often feel helpless or trapped by your board or whatever but this news story shows you what your job is

and

you

know

it

whenever someone is being harmed structurally there should be a story like this honestly

Do you see that the fact that CLERGY showed up to a meeting and pushed her is a NEWS STORY

and the story is

"rep in colorful hair is coward

people repping God in Pious Religious Gear say 'Abolish ICE'"?

that is the story

that is the story we need to keep getting out in a thousand ways.

Clergy friends, your moral voice matters so, so SO much in this moment.

In the public square.

Pushing your electeds.

With congregants.

At actions.

Teaching the truths of your tradition & using the authority of your office.

& calling in all that damn social capital.

What ELSE is it FOR
“Renee Goodman [sic], Alex Pretti – there are no words,” DeLauro said.

“You said there were no words after the murder of those two individuals,” said Rev. Jack Perkins Davidson. “I think the words are ‘Abolish ICE.’”

Are the games industry jobs in the room with us now Mark
At SAGE this morning, Big Ant Studios COO Mark Bracken suggests you can go and get a games degree and walk into a video game job.

"Now is the easiest time to get into the industry" he says.

remember, all that a screen reader reads out for an image is “image:” and then whatever you put in the alt text field.

wouldn’t it be annoying to be trying to navigate the internet and find out what an image is, only to get a generic amazon product title’s worth of word salad?
Don’t stuff your alt text with keywords without context. If your alt text is just a collection of keywords, it will just sound like a gibberish string. It won’t describe what’s actually in the image, and won't help a blind user get a context or content of the image.

This is why no one should have a ~40 year career in politics. It makes them think they don't have to answer to anyone
“I would rather you vote for what is morally correct,” Davidson said.

“Don’t talk to me about my own morality,” DeLauro shot back.

“Don’t tell your constituents what they can and can’t talk to you about,” replied Rev. Nathan Empsall. “What you are voting for is not moral.”

This is not a policy quibble. This is a battle for the soul of our nation.

ICE is kidnapping children, murdering our neighbors in concentration camps, & executing innocent people in broad daylight. They must be abolished.

@delauro.house.gov, defend your constituents from fascism or resign

The Department of Homeland Security *unsuccessfully* sought to expedite deportation proceedings against the family of 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos, according to a local school official.

At an asylum hearing Friday, the family was granted a continuance.
