Didn't expect the cheese and pineapple hedgehog to have roots this deep but OK.
It was believed in medieval times that hedgehogs had spikes so they could roll over fruit to carry home to their children, which is not true but is a really cute idea

Oh yes, the first is a lot of padlocks to more padlocks. (Plus when I saw it it was very tired and suffering from the years of stags and hens)

I did the first room years ago but I know they’ve completely overhauled it since, based on the second I bet it’s looking good now.

Dear all the Actual Play series still using DnD as their base game; looks like Hasbro are giving you a heads up on that being a bad look...no time like right now to start the shift...

Would be really nice to see a few Actual Play series dropping DnD as a base game when the also inevitable 5e Potterverse books drop.

This Super Bowl Sunday, I’d like to introduce you all to the magical curse bowls used in Upper Mesopotamia and Syria in late antiquity. Written in Mandaic (as here) or Syriac Aramaic, they trap demons who trespass on a household by sucking them in with spiraling spells to the center of the bowl.

I got through it and was honestly impressed that he wrote a book spanning millennia of human civilisation and the only woman in the whole thing is a brief appearance from an unnamed wife.
