Your coat is white as winter skies,
The judges said they loved your eyes,
I cannot compete with you,

I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

For paints, this is mostly what I use (pic) - a hodgepodge of brands. I'm hoping to get rid of the poster paints and gauche because they paint great, but travel poorly, breaking up and scattering pigment into other colors, but I haven't yet found perfect watercolor alternatives.

Une séquence de fiction générée par un outil IA... desormais, plus aucune image ne sera considérée comme authentique.
Another restaurant owner stood up to ICE. She refused to let fear win. Her courage reminds us that ordinary people still hold the power to stop injustice in its tracks. When we speak up, we protect what’s right.

It’s very funny going to art museums with my husband and our friend.

I’m the only one of us who went to art school, took classes in painting and drawing and all that jazz.

But I seem to have the least patience for it, particularly for any art post Impressionism.

You know, back in my teens, I visited the U.S. and did a road trip hitting a bunch of National Parks, including Zion, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon.

That’d be an extra $300 per person. Just skip the cross country road trip and fly to San Francisco for an urban tour instead.
Absurd. The federal gov is planning to raise the price of the annual National Park pass to $250 for non-US residents (from $80 for Americans), and the more popular parks will charge $100 extra for EACH non-US resident visitor www.nps.gov/planyourvisi...

I do feel like people sometimes underestimate how realistic AI generated images can get with more modern models.

Remember, it doesn’t need to be perfect, it just has to be good enough that’ll you’ll repost it or like it.
AI is so scary, I hope people realize what this will mean for believing anything online. You can only believe people you know and question literally everything else. We will quickly get in an era of genuine misinformation and mass paranoia

I guess I now have to do a thread on shoes in ancient Mesopotamia in response to this (which happens to be from one of my favourite accounts).

I’m not an archaeologist, nor do I really know anything about shoes, but let’s go on this journey together.
