I cannot wait for the trial of this fucking nazi.
Noem: "We pray for the deceased, but we also recognize that the Minnesota and the Minneapolis governor need to take a long hard look in the mirror. They need to evaluate their rhetoric, their conversations, and their encouragement of such violence against our citizens and law enforcement officers."

Mike Max is as good, if not better than, the national reporters that do this often. He’s seriously good.
7+ hours later, pretty much all Twin Cities broadcast news outlets are on continuous coverage. WCCO-TV has sent sports guy Mike Max back into the streets as they did in 2020.

Have you ever met an ICU nurse?

They are not normal. They are not like you and I.

They are as close to superheros as we have. Their basic instinct is driven by being a helper, a caregiver. They see the worst and face it with their best.

Alex Pretti.

"Are you ok?"
Alex Pretti’s last words were “are you ok?” said the woman next to him who ICE also pepper sprayed in the face.

Our initial analysis is up.

The video footage appears to show that the gun was taken away from the man before he was shot.

He was UNARMED before any of the shots were fired.
Federal law enforcement agents shot and killed a man in Minneapolis on Jan. 24 according to local police officials. DHS told Fox News that the man was “armed with a gun”. A video of the shooting appears to show that a gun was taken from the man before the first shot was fired. x.com/BillMelugin_...

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

Bellingcat, as expected, has excellent frame-by-frame analysis. If the man had a gun, he never wielded it.
Footage taken moments before a struggle shows that the man was filming, holding a phone in his right hand, backing up. His left hand is up, visible, palm facing out, as he backs away from the area. An agent uses his right hand, on the torso of the victim, pushing him back, while the man complies.

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.

Oh my.
The Star Tribune reports that federal agents "attempted to order local police from the scene" where a man was shot and killed by feds this morning, but Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara refused and "instructed his officers to preserve the scene."
Live: Man shot and killed by federal agents in south Minneapolis this morning, police chief says
A video appears to shows federal agents wrestling a man to the ground then shooting him.

Our digital producer @sam.vp had the chance to share a car with George Floyd's aunt, Angela Harrelson, as she reflected on grief, trauma, and Minnesota’s history of resistance.

“We just want humanity,” she said.

We've made this Sinister Minnesotans shirt from our Stan Kelly comic this week.

Net proceeds from this shirt will be donated to local organizations doing their part to keep Minnesotans safe and send ICE agents home to ruin their own fucking communities.

Fuck ICE and stay strong, Minneapolis.
'Sinister Minnesotans' T-Shirt
Show your solidarity with the Sinister Minnesotans refusing to back down from the ICE agents currently polluting their great state with brutality, lawlessness, and an obvious dependence on testosteron...
