Anas Sarwar launched his Holyrood campaign almost entirely on the foundations of how much people are right to hate and fear trans people and they should be segregated from society.

Within a few weeks he then completely botched a coup on his own boss and his career looks likely to be over.

Fitting.

Cabinet ministers coming out one after the other in support of Starmer is a reminder that its not just about Starmer, and its not just Starmer who should go.

A Labour MP remarks: "Starmer will go down as the worst PM in Labour history ... He’s a coward who refuses to take responsibility for his own actions. He is a moral gravity-well from which neither decency, honesty or integrity can escape. A genuine disaster for this country and the Labour movement.”

⚠️New @ippr.org research: 300,000 children will be hit by the Govt’s earned settlement plans.

Retrospective changes will deepen child poverty, block access to higher education & trap families in years of uncertainty.

This is precarity by design.

I think we can say there’s definitely Noticing Things going on now, at the BBC. You might have got this stuff piecemeal here and there but now they’re just laying it out in blunt terms.

"Children of Men" (2006) is set in November 2027
Any time I look to see what the Labour government is up to in the UK it turns out to be things like making posters that Alfonso Cuarón put in the background of the long tracking shot that opens “Children of Men”.

OH, Look! Another game translated by magic!

This right here is quite dangerous in these times. Why? By erasing us translators from our jobs it makes it easier to replace us with GenAI.

We've always been invisible. That gave them a leverage in introducing MTPE and lowering our rates.
Nioh 3, developed by Koei Tecmo and localized in 11 languages, does NOT feature any #TranslatorsInTheCredits. A few members of Localization staff are included in the LQA credits, but none of the actual translators are credited. Source: GamersPrey

I think the funniest part of this election is that Labour is steadfastly refusing to ever even mention the word “Greens” cause they don’t want to give people the idea to maybe vote green lmao
Labour is briefing that they know they won't win the Gorton and Denton by election.

The Greens are favourites and are the only party that can stop Reform.

Lower bills, tax the rich, protect the NHS. We will win.
