Today was a struggle getting out of bed. I didn’t give myself time to work out this morning before work, so I’ll have to do it this later. Not trying to skip anything in my Apple Fitness plan that *I* set up.

Almost getting kicked out of Fellowship of the Ring for making tentacle monster jokes with @sweet-irene.bsky.social. But also: laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe during the “Man or Muppet” number in The Muppets or the reveal abt Humpty Dumpty in Puss in Boots both with @0sweetbuns0.bsky.social.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

This makes me extremely nervous for the future of my current job (which I DO want to leave, but LOL *gestures at everything*). I work for an insurance company (evil, I know) and my work is directly tied to ACA plans. Loss of consumer base = more possible layoffs and we’ve already had two this year.

I have twice resisted purchasing a copy of Double Fantasy on vinyl first at a used music store in Daytona and most recently at the antique mall this past weekend.
I’m trying not to spend money on myself right now, but if it’s still there next time, it’s mine. It’s one of the few LPs I don’t have.
