The GOP treats the environment like an E-1 at a buy here pay here lot just off base. Sure that bitchin’ Camaro may end up costing three times as much in the long run, but just imagine how cool you’ll look rolling up in it today
It is absolutely childish to ignore the hostility that the GOP has shown to science in debates over climate, environmental protections, and most recently vaccines and health and think it has not caused scientists to favor people who don't want to end their careers and promote lies.

So much this, and while it is maddening being a fan of a team that does spend money watching the big market deep pockets buy up talent it’s hard to argue a cap when there are teams that barely spend the floor
the problem is not teams losing games in february—or later—by resting their veterans. the problem is teams with cap space who don't even try to sign difference-maker types in the offseason, teams who don't even try to ever actually rebuild.
