Anybody interested in Irish fiction. I’ve just started releasing my book on Substack. I’ve no idea if this format will work but just want it out there. Book is called Its on Me. open.substack.com/pub/andycowa...

Anyone spot a cyclist (me) knocked off her bike along the canal at drimnagh today by someone who drove away? If you got a reg I’d love the help to report them! @ibike.ie

Cycling home in that was an experience. Heavily splashed by two cars. One I was absolutely certain was on purpose. Made it home. Hopefully next week I’ll need sunglasses and not two jackets.

@ibike.ie Hi, a colleague of mine found two bikes in a ditch this morning, ones a cargo bike with seats and a mountain bike around Dublin 6. Have any of your members reported any thefts?

Another day cycling into Dublin City Centre and I am drenched for the third day in a row. My heart is broken with the weather.

That athlete who confessed to cheating on his partner. Like why would you publicly do that? Have you not caused your partner enough distress without parading it in front of the World? The cheating is bad enough but rubbing their faces in it like that just adds so much unnecessary insult to injury.

Thinking of all my Canadian friends this morning. An unimaginable tragedy in BC.

Joy is an act of defiance and that halftime show had a whole lot of it.
If this halftime show doesn’t make Stephen miller wade into the sea

Went into that halftime show with no expectations but it was so much fun. That energy was unmatched.

Bohemians must not have paid their rent a crowd bill in the off season.

A severe case of couldn’t be arsed answering difficult questions about her office expenses I’d guess is more believable.

The League of Ireland is back. Shelbourne fans in the RSC last night.

Two years ago cruising down the Gulf of Mexico on Honeymoon. Would do anything to go back if even just to make sure the sun is still real.

This is freaking insane and one main reason why I keep on in this space - absolutely absurd what we’ve normalized on our streets.
Too late!
See below from recent #RSA campaign for 2nd Class (8 year olds) asking them to pledge to wear hi-vis clothing in pretty much every outdoor situation nigh or day. Full pledge in Alt-Text

Just hand us the title now.
Shelbourne fend off Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick's Athletic to sign Will Jarvis.

The 42 also understands that the 23-year-old has signed a three-year contract at Tolka Park.

It’s 2028 and all pedestrians are mandated by law to wear hi vis clothes at all times. Black north face jackets are illegal. Black mascara has been outlawed and replaced with neon. Drivers are still watching tiktok and saying didn’t see you there pal.

The Government plans to introduce regulations making it mandatory for users of e-bikes and e-scooters to wear helmets and high-visibility clothing.

Cars kill hundreds of people every single year in Ireland. Cause untold carnage. Have destroyed the ability of kids to get anywhere safely. Congest our cities etc. But cyclists are the nightmare. Right got it.

Probably as good a time as any to leave the 2025 Dublin marathon Facebook group. Not usually where I’d expect to find an ad for coal.

Good god. We've spent a decade with the British media - including the BBC - claiming that the 'gender critical' movement wanted to 'protect women and girls'.

And it turns out Jeffrey Epstein was funding part of it.
I'm not being facetious. Epstein was apparently giving talking points to the people pushing anti trans rhetoric in the UK.
