"English Scots Irish" is the 'Anglo-American' culture. The Irish were not part of that culture. For those confused by that. Scots-Irish is a specific group. Think WASP (if not actually WASP).
Today in the US there is considerable confusion with people thinking Scots-Irish means Scots and Irish only.

I know there are irish people who are a disappointment to their ancestors by how they treat the stranger and the laws of hospitality. But honest to god, my opinion of any Irish diaspora who is anti immigrant is so low that Lucifer has to look down to see it

I was talking about this just the other day.... 2.5hours later the irish person leaves without saying goodbye - because for 2.5 hours all they have been doing is circulating the party saying goodbye to everyone individually.... And to outlier George for an hour of that...
