Yes exactly! He's all about that stuff that he thinks looks nice but is actually tacky, always has been. Trump towers still have that look to them to this day
As an American let me say you are correct in this assessment that it is gaudy and not fit for the white house. Same goes for the man in the office of the presidency
I get the impression the ad was more about Ford's ego. Like yes it was, on paper, a good idea to use Reagan to try to appeal to American conservatives, but... I don't know, fact is, trade is the federal government's lane. A governor here pulling the same move would have holy hell to pay for it.

Without accountability, there is no reason for other countries to assume MAGA fascists won't come roaring back.

In other words, to stabilize America's role as a leader and superpower, everyone associated with the Trump administration must be held accountable. There is no other way.
Ooh thank you, I actually was not aware of this! But I see they have a volunteer form to help them with this, so.. 👀 don't mind if I do help collect receipts for our Nuremberg trials in 2029
He is also a Russian propagandist
No the hell he isn't allowed to
Yeah! At least the Pope seems up to the challenge
For the American association, this is probably (??) as close it gets -- but if someone can correct me then please do: www.nae.org/leadership/

I think it would be safe to say the Pope is generally someone they would at the very least respect and acknowledge the Christian kinship with. The big-ass caveat now is that Trump has made himself into a cult figure so it depends how many respect the Pope more vs want to not rebuke dear leader more
Allegedly. I think that's what he calls himself, anyway.
I'm not Catholic, I've never been Catholic, (I did attend a Catholic high school though!), but I am always here for an American pope constantly talking shit about the MANY moral and spiritual shortcomings of the American president/the whole administration.
It's like "Affordable Care Act" vs "Obamacare"

our purely arbitrary betrayal of Canada is one of the things which makes me angriest about Trump II
What I'm not sure many Americans get is the level of work that kind of thought will take. This is not a four or eight year project; it's longer because it is our future and our foundation. We the people - let's get to it.
The thing about this moment in the US that I'm not sure many Americans really grasp the weight of is that is demands from each of us a bold reimagining of what we want to form this country into. As bold as the founders had to think of the first iteration of us. We have to make our second iteration.
That headline is as bad as the one that said Kirk did political actions the right way
He's really speed running his way into everything he accused Biden of being
she is a ghoul as bad as anyone in the WH
And this is the god awful automatic response you get when contacting the WH right now:
This is my longshot method for how to get the electoral college abolished (yes I know it doesn't work this way for how to actually, fully, legally, abolish it) and to troll the president by calling him stupid without calling him stupid:

I’m good with my taxes subsidizing social welfare for people who can’t afford food.

I’m enraged with my taxes subsidizing corporate welfare to businesses that won’t pay a living wage.
