This is not hard. Artists are not responsible for ensuring the Kennedy Center remains relevant and successful. The center’s board is responsible for that, in a fiduciary way. All of this energy being directed at artists should be re-directed at the board.

Well, that's screwed up. And, at the risk of sounding like a conspiracy delusionist... I can't help but wonder if it's specifically aimed at screwing with mail-in votes.
As of 12/24/25, USPS changed policy on when they postmark mail. Mail dropped off is no longer guaranteed a same-day postmark. Tax returns & other time-sensitive items are now stamped when they reach a regional processing center, which may be days later. Plan deadlines accordingly to avoid penalties.

So many colleges and universities with programs supporting immigrant students are losing the funding for these programs, which inherently sucks. There's an extra bitterness in the fact that those who are trying to keep them alive by other means are becoming targets for the Trump admin.
