I’m reminded how a veteran VA went on Twitter and told people directors are looking for “actors not activists” and then it came out he was mad a Latino actor was considered for a role because the actor was the appropriate race.

Legitimately, again, I must bring up the fact that I was told - in the middle of a VO class - that "trans women need to wait their turn" when it comes to being considered for roles.
Which was then backed up by others in the class nodding and mentioning in text chat in agreement with that statement.
