When we say that people can't change, that is not leftism. It means one of two things: 1) a carceral approach, or 2) a doomer approach. Because it means either we have to lock those people up because they're unfixable, or there's nothing we can do and we should just give up.

It’s nice to watch that Tom Holland Umbrella video now, in the midst of all this bullshit the right is pulling about gender, and see him take the whole performance completely seriously. He never plays the gender stuff for laughs.

FWIW, Zendaya is also great in her piece and plays it the same way.

Yeah because most people mean Liberal Dems when they say "the Left." Only self-identified Leftists see themselves as set apart, the True Left, as much different from Liberals as they are from Conservatives. Everyone else sees Liberals and Leftists as pretty similar.
