I don’t think people quite understand that the occupation by ICE in the Twin Cities has more or less erased non-white people from public life. They cannot safely exist in any space accessible to the public and moving between private places leaves folks vulnerable to kidnapping by armed masked goons.

Det er ingenting igjen av årets fredspris som har noe med Nobels idé og gjøre. Kun et monument over naive akademikere som i hybris fra et møterom i Oslo trodde de kunne leke aktører i storpolitikken og «håndtere» en irrasjonell skurk. De endte som bidragsytere for hans agenda. Og de bør trekke seg.

The conservative rhetoric around protecting women makes more sense once you understand that victims exist purely as a hypothetical for them. Once a victim actually claims the label, they become a threat. This is also why they prefer dead women to living victims.

To square the circle of how this fits in with the “protect women’s sports” crusade, the whole point of that movement is to protect sports for their chosen class of women as participants and keep women’s sports subservient to men’s sports in terms of investment and interest.
