Seems like calling the president a "pedophile protector" is really lucrative, more people should probably try it.

We are ten years into this. Troops are on the streets of an American city brutalizing people. It is time to stop responding to Trump's most authoritarian ambitions with "well he can't do that."

I think this is what is really aggrivating about Walz and Frey. If you’re gonna not use *any* state resources to help the situation at all (tbf, they are using lawyers, but the Court decided that could wait a week), at least get your body out there on the line
It’s time to demand our leaders and politicians stop talking about non-violence, and start demonstrating more physical courage by DOING non-violence in the streets.
So far, all the courage has come from ordinary people, and almost none from our leaders and politicians.

It whips that not only is this guy absolutely going to get reinstated with back pay thanks to UNIONS but he’s already made nearly $1mil in a GFM which means many, many people are now incentivized to scream at Trump that he’s a pedophile
Well, time for a MAGA boycott then

Dem leaders forgetting there’s forms of peaceful resistance beyond “wait for the courts” or “bear witness” feels like a pretty grim indictment of institutional civil society

I don’t know which conservative Democrats need to hear this history lesson, but the German elected officials who voted to fund the Gestapo were considered Nazi collaborators.

History is watching.

ICE agents only do this because they are extremely well-trained and experienced with the situations they are creating
ICE agents fled from the crowd and left behind their CONOPS battle plan for Minneapolis, including agent's names, hotel rooms, phone numbers, boxes of license plates, and tac radio frequencies.

In the grand scheme this is not the most important thing that happened today.

But "protesters eagerly sift through the equipment and papers left behind by the regime's routed elite security forces" historically happens at a much later stage of regime collapse than this.

Well, what do you know. Almost a decade in the criminal justice system and I guess I developed some pretty good instincts. A reader just showed this to me and it does now look like the entire DHS story is a pile of bullshit.
“They chased him, he got home and when we closed the door they shot him.”

MN orgs/electeds say👇🏽this is the family calling the police with ICE outside, after a man was shot in the leg with a pregnant woman & child inside

I'm only telling you this so you can avoid doing it, certainly not endorsing it:

If you pee into a water bottle and stretch a water balloon over the top you can squeeze the pee into the balloon.

Also while staying hydrated gives you more volume, being dehydrated makes it concentrated and smelly.

This. Constraint and accountability for using military force start closest to home. Advisers and members of the president’s party. Doesn’t have to be a vote, doesn’t have to be public. But there’s no constraining without it. War is an Insiders’ Game.
The absence of any public pushback from the Republican Party on a situation as insane as Trump is rapidly reaching on Greenland is itself a huge sign of how far gone the US already is.
