Time for this reminder again.

The real question is not "Why is Bluesky so left-coded," the real question is "Why can't the right exist in a social media environment without algorithmic assistance, where people can ignore them"

Weaving and crafts community: we have a loom that needs saving. It's beautiful and looks to be in great shape.

Please share to all Irish crafts people.

Pass it on.

Well, if it’s the 122nd anniversary of the birth of Cary Grant, it must be time to tell the story of the time he went to an Alice Cooper concert and likened the experience to shitting himself

Just found that my great grandfather Bob Stewart was up in court for sedition (again) in 1926 Angela Lansbury’s dad, Edgar, stood as surety for him.

Hey there Bsky!

Would anyone know of any Irish/Based-in-Ireland Queer LGBTQ+ journals/literary magazines/publications who are currently active and open to submissions?

Preferably, but not exclusively, on the somewhat academic side!

I used the theme tune for my short-lived stint on Newry community radio (IYKYK), which went out via speakers up lampposts rather than on the actual radio. 😂
Hill Street Blues premiered on this date in 1981. It lasted 7 seasons & 146 episodes and introduced us to a raft of new memorable characters.

this gives me an excuse to post my favourite example of the Kennedy obsession, from Galway Cathedral - they keep it behind a curtain these days, a long time ago @katymullinleeds.bsky.social and I damn near got ourselves thrown out for pulling the curtain back to see it!
