It's remarkable that the book by [wretched reporter] sold so poorly. At peak intensity, something like 95% of the skeets on this platform were screenshots/excerpts. Bad publicity is still publicity.
Like that subplot in /Love Actually/ where everyone dunks on Bill Nighy's cynical Christmas song?

Time was, we had an apolitical federal typeface class. We took it for granted.Times New Roman, Calibri, Courier, Georgia—you checked your politics at the door and went to work for the American people.
Next May, SCOTUS will codify that the President can fire any font he wants. It's gross.

This is actually a good example of why the customer model is wrong.

I wouldn't have chosen poetry writing, but UNC made me take a class. And it absolutely made me become a much better writer, with an eye to concision and an ear now trained to the rhythm of words. I'm a better historian as a result.
If you are providing me with an education that is low utility in the world then it’s a disservice. My composition class spent four weeks on poetry. I’m sorry, but that only would’ve been useful if I wanted to be a poet. I don’t need to know iambic pentameter in order to be a victim advocate.

Exactly. Locally, you are also more likely to know someone on the inside of a small target business. Reach out to your personal network of friends, family, coworkers, hobby shared persons, church sharing persons etc. Tell them what you are looking for and why.

The USPS is the best friend to small businesses. Essential public utility. Logistics covering the whole country, with a range of rates? Done. We couldn't possibly FedEx or UPS our way through.

Amazon FBA is the second best friend to small businesses, but it's a frenemies relationship.
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service
